I'm coming up on month seven of pregnancy, which means that my already-outie (outtie? how the hell do you spell that?) belly button looks like a pig's nose, at least from my angle. It's quite prominent.
Sev and I were going to head down to the pool yesterday. We were already in our swim suits, and I sat in a chair to lather my kid up in sunscreen. As I was sunscreen-ing Sev's arms, I saw her staring intently at my belly button. This lasted more than a couple seconds.
Eventually, I saw that she had come to a conclusion about it. She looked up at me and said, "Your belly button smells like carrots."
This is awesome.
